What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. For example, they let the basket remember the products you have added, spare you from logging in again on every page, or let us know how many people visit the website. In this policy we also use the word “cookies” for similar technologies that store or read information on your device, such as the browser’s local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage).

Depending on who manages them, they can be first-party (set by our website) or third-party (set by another company whose service we use, such as Google or PayPal). Depending on how long they last, they can be session cookies (deleted when you close the browser) or persistent cookies (they stay for the stated time or until you delete them).

Cookies we use

Below you will find details of the cookies and similar technologies this website may use, grouped by purpose. Some only appear in certain situations (for example, if you log in, if you choose to pay with PayPal or if you visit the website in another language).

Payments. If you choose to pay with PayPal, the PayPal button (PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A.) is loaded on the payment page and sets its own cookies on the PayPal domain to process the payment and prevent fraud (for example, ts, ts_c, tsrce, x-pp-s, nsid, l7_az or enforce_policy). If you pay by card or Bizum through Redsys, you are redirected to the secure gateway of Redsys Servicios de Procesamiento, S.L. and of your bank, which may use their own technical cookies on their domains. These cookies are necessary for the payment service you yourself request; you can find their information in the policies of PayPal and Redsys.

Abandoned basket recovery. If you start a purchase and enter your email on the checkout page but do not complete it, we may send you a reminder. This feature does not set additional cookies: it uses the WooCommerce session described above and the email you give us (how it is processed is explained in the Privacy Policy).

Other site technologies

  • Elementor may use the browser’s local and session storage (key elementor) to avoid repeating notices or pop-ups you have already closed. This is a technical function with no advertising purpose.
  • Controller configurator: authorised TigerNicks staff use local storage (tn_bg_ref, tn_bg_opts) in the admin panel to remember editor settings. It is not used with visitors.
  • Rank Math (SEO) does not set cookies in visitors’ browsers.
