PS4 Shell: Features and Customisation Options

A PS4 shell doesn’t just protect your console, it also gives you a unique chance to personalise its look. In this guide, we look at what the shell does and how you can personalise it to match your style.

What Is a PS4 Shell?

The PS4 shell is the outer cover of the PlayStation 4 console. It is designed to protect the internal components from dust, dirt and physical damage, while also giving the console an attractive look.

Main Features of the PS4 Shell

• Protection: The shell acts as a barrier against dust and impacts, helping to keep your console in good condition.
• Ventilation: Many shells are designed with ventilation holes that allow proper airflow and prevent overheating.
• Style: The shell can improve the overall look of your console, letting you personalise it to your taste.

How to Personalise Your PS4 Shell

Personalising your PS4 shell is a great way to make it one of a kind. Here are some options:

1. Adhesive Vinyl Stickers (Not recommended)

Vinyl stickers are a popular, affordable way to personalise your shell. You can find lots of different designs or even create your own. Simply apply the vinyl to a clean surface and make sure you smooth out any bubbles.

2. Custom Paint (The best option)

If you feel creative, you can choose to personalise it. At Tigernicks we specialise in console personalisation, and we can prepare yours with the design you like best.

3. Interchangeable Shells

There are interchangeable shells on the market that let you change the look of your console easily. These shells come in different colours and designs, so you can change the style without any hassle.

4. Extra Accessories

Consider adding accessories such as LED lights or themed stickers that complement the design of your shell. This not only improves the look, it can also make your console stand out even more.
